Just 6 months before Start of Production (SoP), a client faced a critical business blocker: they could not prove their new TPMS system complied with OEM requirements, standards and regulatory requirements. Contracted as an external Systems Engineering consultant, I was tasked with leading the implementation of a comprehensive compliance evidence realisation process and putting in place the full evidence package. I analysed the regulations, interviewed project members, and facilitated communication with the customer to clarify ambiguities. I then mapped the applicable requirements to product artefacts to implement a coherent and complete traceability mechanism. Within six months, I successfully delivered a complete compliance evidence package covering ~9,000 requirements, allowing them to pass the audit. By applying this rigorous traceability process I uncovered about 100 unknown non-conformities, preventing potential product recalls and avoidable costs.

GE Aviation identified a gap between EMC planed testing and the detailed test procedures, while developing a complex product. Engaged as Systems Integration Architect to lead a Tiger-team to determine, document and agree all the necessary information for writing the detailed test procedures and building the automated test equipment. Set up the mini project team, kicked-off and defined the project scope and success criteria, liaised with all specialists and stakeholders and led the definition and implementation of the resulting work packages. Managed to drive the project to completion under a tight 3-month schedule, compared to the history for similar work, programme and team size, that took 2 years before. A Six-sigma black-belt involved to help translating this approach into a structured process for the future.
An Automotive Tier1 was awarded a contract to produce a TPMS system for a global OEM. Engaged as Systems Technical Project Leader to deliver a system. Scoped system requirements; produced detailed implementation plan; instilled project governance and drove delivery of solution; reviewed system architecture with development team; managed resource allocation and reporting; managed testing and quality assurance audit of final solution fitted to a vehicle. Successfully delivered a TPMS system achieving customer quality requirement of ASPICE target 3.
